Grace Christian Academy K-12th – South Sudan

Dear Friends,

I just returned from South Sudan and my heart is overjoyed by all of the great things that God is doing there. Thanks to your prayers and generosity we were able to re-open two Christian schools that were closed during the war. We were expecting only 600 students and 1,540 are now registered to attend. We are so grateful that God exceeded our expectations and through you, he provided the opportunity for so many young people to positively change the trajectory of their lives.

The students are bright, focused and so grateful that the school is open again. Many walk over 6 miles every day because they believe that education will help them fulfill their dreams of becoming doctors, teachers, politicians, etc. We are humbled that they are entrusting you and I with their dreams and are grateful for partner organizations in the country like the World Food Program who have agreed to provide at least one meal per day for each student that attends.
We have an amazing opportunity to keep the school open for all 1,540 students. Please join us in raising $6000 each month in 2016. The funds will be used to pay for teachers’ salaries, materials and equipment for students, and security to keep the students safe. We cannot do this without your support.
We are looking for partners to stand with us in sharing the love of Christ in South Sudan .We have until April 30th to reach our first goal. Become an Answer to prayer. To make a donation please click donate

Church Development Ministry-Moroto Uganda

Since September 2008, we have been conducting community outreach in Moroto District. Using Jesus film, outdoor preaching, door to door evangelism , the number of faithful Christians is growing. We have seen lives transformed, people delivered,  and physically healed. The door to door ministry  led by Mario Loyep  and Pastor Emanuel continues to reach Karamajong families.  On a weekly basis, they visit prisoners,  encourage new believers,  pray for the sick and share the gospel. Our goal is to build a church that will accommodate 3,000 worshipers  every Sunday, provide baptism, services, weddings, and other liturgy services

The plans are ready , we need your support to build a church for the Karimajong people

Invitation by Karamajong elders

In March 2007 I was looking for opportunities to serve God. My journey was intercepted by a young man Mario Loyep whom I knew from the past. Our path was re-united and the bond formed led us both to Karamoja. He led us to his home land where the elders were searching for new ways to help their people. The timing was perfect for both teams and the new relationship formed is now what we call hope for tomorrow. Continue reading “Invitation by Karamajong elders”

Dear Karamoja Pioneers,

This year, we begin a new chapter in our ministry to the Karimojong people. In June we will be on the ground ready to begin serving and implementing the vision God has entrusted us. Since 2008, we have been sharing the gospel in Moroto district and people coming to know the Lord. Grace Chapel is the first building in our church development ministry and will be the first church in the area with structure for worship. TMVM vision is set in such a way, that we plan, develop and establish churches to become self sufficient, with the goal of training national to take the lead.  Providing a place to worship and leaders to disciple all these new believers will strengthen their relationship with the Lord.  Continue reading “Church Development Ministry 2016-2018”

May 2008 Timeline

In May 2008, Ms. Faith Nsubuga set on a second journey to Moroto Karamoja. The trip which took two month to accomplish was very successful. Her first trip to the region was to select the land location. On behalf of the ministry, Faith selected the site in Rupa county. Her second return to the area was for research purposes and to establish relationships with the elders, local government and other agencies working in the area. Faith accomplished all the four goals set for this particular trip, and at the same time introduced the ministry vision. We are grateful for the outpouring hospitality she received in Moroto-Uganda

The research phase began in Kampala where traffic is barely regulated. It is dangerous to drive in Kampala city as each driver creates his/her path to reach their destination.
